About Me

As a kid of 12 years, I spent the better part of 3 months taking notes on the personalities of the other children in my class. Children were organized into profile groups and the main characteristics of each grouping were listed, along with the advantages of belonging to each profile group.

I then devised a method for picking the set of characteristics that I considered to be most beneficial for me to adopt into my own personality. I called the research Protocol N-17. I am aware how silly and nerdy this sounds but it illustrates an important aspect of who I am.

I am Paul Allen, and I have always been fascinated with learning. I am driven by complex problems in any domain. As long as it can be understood systematically or otherwise I am willing to give it a try.

It comes as no surprise then that I would be fascinated with computers, algorithms, mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics.
